Custom domains
Links convert better and get blocked less on a domain your audience recognises. xengo gives you two routes:
Bring your own domain (BYOD)
Section titled “Bring your own domain (BYOD)”Customise → Domains → Add domain. Point a domain (or subdomain) you own,
e.g. go.yourbrand.com:
- Add the domain in the console.
- Create the DNS records shown (a validation record for the certificate, then a CNAME/alias for traffic).
- Click Verify — certificate issuance and HTTPS are automatic from there.
Domain provisioning is queued deliberately (AWS control-plane limits allow roughly one operation per 30 seconds account-wide), so a newly added domain can take a few minutes to go live. The console shows progress.
Plan allowances: Starter 1 domain, Pro 3, Business 10.
Instant branded subdomains
Section titled “Instant branded subdomains”No DNS access, or want something today? Claim yourname.xgo.fi — live
immediately, no records to create. Good for trials and small teams; graduate
to BYOD whenever you like (links can be created on either).
Which domain does a link use?
Section titled “Which domain does a link use?”Pick the domain per link at creation. Two tenants can even use the same stub on their own domains — resolution is host-scoped.
